It is time for us to meet again. We keep progressing with existing tasks. As saying goes: so far so good. So let’s dive in what happened throughout the week.

Exchange

We continue working on trading logic. Catching up for 5 weeks of delay is not an easy task, but we are doing our best. Next week we will release a new version on the testnet. The new version will be tested for possible bugs or mistakes. If there will be none of those, we will finally have the alpha version of the exchange that we will share with some of you to get your feedback.

Wallet

We can not make any promises at this stage BUT if we manage to finish our alpha version on time, we might be able to present Jarvis wallet on a conference in Berlin (which will be held in August). This will be great as finally we will start to be more visible and part of the global Defi movement with an actual product.

This week we started a very cool task: Tio, our artist, and designer worked on a set of character to personalize the wallet. These characters are displayed to illustrate some part of the wallet like welcoming message, successful transaction pop-up etc.

We already told you many times that we want to build a product that provides emotion, and as useful as it is pleasant for the eye and the mind. We want our users to be enchanted by our UI and UX, to stand out from the crowd but we also want to showcase the work of many artists within the application. Ideally, Jarvis could also be a place for them to present and sell their artworks, and for you to fully customize Jarvis according to your taste.

Jarvis is a lifestyle and you can choose the one close to you! At launch, the wallet will provide in-house artwork signed by our amazing Tio (in a future article we will disclose a private joke that went too far about that, leading to some PG18 content…).

Business

We had yet another call with a future partner, Formatic. They allow you to connect to DApps using your phone number. This adds one more way to connect to Jarvis Exchange. Therefore, you will be able to access the exchange using Meta Mask, Edge wallet, Portis, Arkane Network, and Formatic respectively, alongside with using Jarvis Wallet of course. We will also work to integrate WalletConnect and start digging into a new cool protocol called Torus.

All these names might not ring a bell to you. Today, many websites allow you to connect using your social media account. It provides a seamless experience and removes the need of going through the long and painful registration process. It will be the same to connect to the Jarvis Exchange. No account needed, you will log in using your Jarvis Wallet or any other wallet mentioned earlier. This will increase the potential user base as any user of these wallets will be able to connect to the exchange in one-click.

On a side note

Here at Jarvis, we believe that a healthy competition within the firm does not hurt. So we have a local competition playing an old classic “Worms”. So far our Seva is on the top of the leader board. There is no match for his skills, even when everyone teams up against him. We continue our tournaments and hope that the situation will change in the future. So far the top 3 looks like this:

1. Seva (with a lot of luck and skill)
2. Ilian (with sneaky tactics)
3. Manu (with “artistic” style)

And Pascal gets a “participation medal” for trying hard.

This is all for today. Jarvis team wishes you a happy weekend. See you next week!

Vsevolod.

The possibilities are limitless
