The Celsius Case or how the JSF will drive user acquisition in practice

Previously, we wrote about the Strategic Fund and its function in the company. I want to present to you the first use case we have of how this has worked so far and our plans for the future with our partner Celsius.

The purpose of the Strategic Fund (SF) is to drive user acquisition and to insentivize our community to use partners solutions by using the pool’s resources for special campaigns or partnerships.These could be creating a social media feedback campaign related to one of our products, a special bonus campaign for the launch of something new, or a JRT bonus for users who test a new partner’s app.

Here’s an awesome example

A shining example of how this works is our current partnership with Celsius. We recently partnered with Celsius Network to integrate their service in our wallet and provide an awesome savings account for our users. The partnership rolls out in several phases — the first one being the announcement of the partnership and a campaign to encourage Jarvis users to try the Celsius app out, followed by a symbiotic integration of Celsius in the Jarvis Wallet, where users can store their sleeping funds and earn interest from them, while having the ability to withdraw them an open a trading position or spend them at any time. This is great, as it provides our community with the ability to use Jarvis in a centralized way: the saving account is a cold storage wallet open with BitGo. No need to worry about losing your keys, you will always access your funds by proving your identity.

If you haven’t heard about Celsius, here is a little background information. Celsius gives crypto holders the opportunity to deposit different digital assets on their network, and earn interest on them every Monday, or use them as collateral to borrow money. Until today, the network supported BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC, ZEC, BTG, XRP, XLM, OMG, ZRX, but the company has announced an upcoming update to support many stable coin; holders will also have the chance to deposit their Trueusd (TUSD), Gemini dollar (GUSD), Paxos standard (PAX), Circle’s usd coin (USDC) and Maker’s dai (DAI). The assets are held in BitGo, the leading custody solution for digital assets.

How the JSF works into this

So, what does the JSF do to support this partnership. As we mentioned in the previous section, the first phase of the partnership is introducing our community to Celsius and vice versa.,We launched a special bounty campaign, giving away a reward of 100 JRT to everyone, who opens an account in Celsius using the Jarvis referral link and makes their first deposit.

Additionally, if they refer someone to Celsius, using our link, they will receive an additional 100 JRT bonus for this. Then, to give the campaign more momentum, users who share their weekly interest on social media will receive 25 JRT per post — this way we can encourage more traction in forums and large social networks.

We’re also working on a Leaderboard of those who referred the most people and those who deposited the most. At the moment we can’t fulfill this because of GDPR and automation issues. However, once Celsius is integrated in our wallet, we’ll be able to track this data easily and create this mechanism to keep the campaign exciting and fresh.

Does it work?

We have started the campaign a month ago, when we announced our partnership with Celsius. In this time, we have attracted 915 people who clicked on the link, 123 of them installed the app and 40 of them passed the KYC and made a deposit since one month have made a deposit. And this is without counting the team members who had open an account with Celsius before the link. For us, this is an awesome way to engage community members and makes the community more excited to be a part of Jarvis. For our partner, it’s a superb mechanism to acquire new users and increase awareness of their products. By cooperating like this, companies in the industry can create effective brand awareness campaigns.

For us, the Fund’s campaigns present an amazing way to strengthen partnerships and to acquire new users, who are interested in the great opportunities presented by our own services, as well as our synergies with strategic partners. The idea of this structure and mechanism is to empower both users and partners. We want to bring great solutions millions of forex traders and new clients through cooperations like these.

As a company, we leverage a lot from our symbiotic partnerships: finding synergies can reduces the overall cost of development, and adds exponential value propositions for our users in just a few weeks.
