Newsletter, 18th of August
New week, new plans, new newsletter. We got some more exited news and we can’t wait to share them. Without further ado, let’s begin.
Exchange
We launched the testnet this week! One of the points is to hear the first feedback. Even though it is not the final UI, we are eager to hear people’s opinions and suggestions, as well as finding possible bugs (since the platform has more users with different configurations). The launch was on Tuesday, and so far 20 issues were addressed. At the moment some UI and features bugs were found.
Another reason is to try to monitor the backend and to see how things work with a bigger pool of users. And as they say: “So far so good”. We did not notice any problems but we increase the number of traders on a daily basis and maybe something will come up (we hope it won’t).
Next step will be to address all the bugs found. However, most of the UI problems will be resolved with the implementation of a new version of the UI, so it is pointless to waste time on them now. The main point of the testnet was to find bugs on the backend. It was discovered that sometimes the SL or TP are not triggered so we are investigating the reasons behind it. Therefore the UI bugs are not the priority.
Wallet
On Friday we had yet another call with ETHworks. However, this time we spoke about business, and how we will continue to work in the long-term. More updates on the wallet will be given next week. For now, we think we are prepared for Berlin, and the presentation itself!
