Your Business Will Only Survive with Relationships

Have you started up your brand new business and haven’t gotten the clientele you really desire?

Maybe you are constantly sending emails, advertising in the paper, or pouring out Facebook ads continuously. It’s not that people don’t know about your business. They just don’t know that you care.

What? I have to care about my customers even if I am online? Yes!

Whether you are providing face-to-face services or online, you have to truthfully have a passion for the people you hope to attract. And it cannot be fake. People know when you really don’t mean them any well. It will show up inevitably.

What is the success of keeping more people rolling in even after they leave?

Building Relationships.

People have to know you. You have to let down a wall and show yourself purely. Relationships cannot be built with your audience if you hide behind your product.

A rule I typically use is to share my experience in life that led me to my business. Then, I share my struggles… That’s a tough one! You don’t want everyone to know your business, but don’t you want their business?

We usually don’t buy from people who are closed off. Once I’ve been transparent, I share with them how my services can ease their own hardships.

This shows that your services aren’t about you. It’s truly about giving them three things — authentic concern, unmatched value, genuine investment .

Supply Authentic Concern

When you see a potential client, don’t just try to sell your product. That comes across as aggressive to some. Look to see how you can help them. Offer them advice on what they can do in a certain area.

Use the rule of 3.

This rule gives your potential client 3 tips to solve their problems, after that, you have to step into charging for your knowledge. If they really appreciate your content, they will pay you for what you offer them. If not, then they weren’t your ideal client.

However, you were compassionate towards them, which goes a lot further than pushing sales. Trust, they will share with someone else that you gave them something of great value.

Anything you give freely will always come back to you.

Provide Unmatched Value

To set you apart from anyone else, it is critical that you extend products or services that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

You know how you can ensure that what you have is rare?

Be yourself as you craft it.

Don’t copy what anyone else is doing.

It’s ok to research and see what others are doing, but we cannot obsess about everyone else’s business. Create something you are most passionate about. Your passion is authentic to you.

Whatever you design for clients must make you feel good. If it doesn’t, then it is probably not valuable enough to sell to someone else who wants solutions for their issues.

People only invest in what they believe will fix their problems.

Give Genuine Investment

Before you lock in your client, it has to be clear on what all your clients will get out of working with you. A lack of clarity places fear inside of people. They don’t want to step into the unknown when it comes to their coins.

I mean really, when was the last time you purchased something that you didn’t inspect?

Be honest with your potential clients through providing vivid details. I don’t mean you tell them the entire product or service to where they are getting it for free.

You just need to share enough to make them feel like they can trust what you have cultivated. This openness demonstrates that you don’t keep secrets of any kind.

People will be drawn to your level of integrity.
