It can be too easy to miss an important game, or to miss influential news about one of your favorite teams. Jason Borrevik, lifelong sports fan, finds that one of the best ways to keep up to date on the news in your favorite sport is by listening to podcasts. Podcasts give you something to listen to while on the go and have quickly become one of the most consumed forms of content available online and for sports this is no different. For every sport there are hundreds of podcasts available at any point, but Jason Borrevik wants to highlight some of podcasts that could be an introduction to the medium.

Basketball

Winging It: A very new, but extremely entertaining, podcast, Winging It is a player focused podcast for the NBA. Hosted by Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, each episode of the podcast has a different guest player on the show including Steph Curry as they talk shop on everything in the NBA world from technical skills to locker room drama and anything else that comes to mind. Jason Borrevik highlights Winging It as being one of the only sports podcasts in any sport that is hosted by current players.

The Lowe Post: Hosted by Zach Lowe from ESPN, The Lowe Post has consistently been one of the top basketball podcasts for years.
