5 min readMar 22, 2025

Welcome back, fellow developers, Sorry for delay ! Java 24 has arrived on March 18 2025 , but let’s be honest — does it even matter anymore? With a new release dropping every six months, Java updates have become so frequent that they barely feel exciting anymore. Gone are the days when a major Java version felt like an event. Now, it’s just another Tuesday.

But here’s why you should care (or at least pretend to). Java 25, coming in September, will be an LTS (Long-Term Support) release. That means all the features piling up in these incremental updates will finally become stable, enterprise-ready, and actually worth your attention.
