The Truth No One Wants to Admit About Java in 2025

Every year, some self-proclaimed tech legends declares that Java is dead. “Oh, Java is outdated!

Java is too verbose!

No one uses Java anymore!”

And yet, when you look at the tech stacks of major companies — Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook (Meta), and Netflix — guess what? Java is right there, powering their critical systems. So, is Java really dying, or is this just another cycle of baseless hype?
