Hello guys, ever since Udemy launched their Personal Plan, I receive one or two query daily from my readers about whether they should go for Personal plan or continue accumulating individual courses.

For me the rule is simple, most of us have to learn a lot, especially as a programmer so it does make sense to join Udemy personal plan because for just $30 per month you get unlimited access of 11000+ Udemy best courses.

But its not just price, its also about time. Most of us don’t have enough time to learn and if you check your Udemy account, you will find more than 10 courses waiting for you to start.

Yes, I am not joking, this is true even for me and I have hundreds of Udemy courses in my account which I bought but never got a chance to check it out.

So, if you join Udemy Personal plan but don’t watch enough then you end up paying $30 per month for nothing, much like my Netflix subscription nowadays as I don’t have enough time to watch movies or shows.

So, I suggest you to join Udemy personal plan if you are in learning mode and you have dedicated time every day to learn something but if you are a busy guy, its better to buy the course and keep it for life time.

Also, most of us only buy courses when they are available for $10 on Udemy sale, so if you are a casual learner, its still better to keep buying individual courses. You should only join Udemy Personal Plan if you are preparing for interview or learning a new skill and got lot of free time.
