Why Everyone I Talk to Is Full of Hate and Criticism Towards PHP
It is accused of bad code, low performance, and inconvenient syntax.
Attacks on this programming language sometimes look too fierce. And why is it so hated? PHP defenders have a clear opinion on this matter and their ironclad arguments.
PHP is often criticized. This language has many haters — that’s why it is the most common language in web development (according to the most minimal estimates, PHP is used in more than 80% of sites).
You can find many online discussions where critics and haters give different arguments. The main one is the ease of learning. PHP is easy to master and easy to start programming. This leads to the emergence of many developers of dubious quality who produce “bad code.” PHP is always criticized for both performance and syntax.
In general, this is a trend that criticizes PHP. At the same time, a much smaller number of developers defend the opposite point of view.
