Refactoring Your Code in JavaScript

If you have been working on a project for a while, you might start to realize that the files you are working with are becoming quite large in size and somewhat difficult to read. Sure, this isn’t a problem when first starting out, however, going back to change things later can be much more difficult when your file has grown to be hundreds or even thousands of lines long. To help out with file sizes and levels of complexity, you should get into the habit of refactoring your code.
