Submission Guideline Update (April 13, 2024) 📅
In line with Medium’s recent policy on AI-generated content, the following changes to the submission guidelines will be effective starting May 1, 2024:
- Submitted articles should be at least 300 words long. While short stories have been welcome from the beginning, many submissions under 300 words are often of low quality and typically have the tone of AI-generated content.
- Photographs, illustrations, or any graphic content generated with AI should be appropriately captioned. For more information on how to add image captions, check out this guide.
- Code blocks and texts generated with AI tools should be disclosed within the article.
Follow the new guidelines above to avoid article rejection.
Additionally, stories with monotonous tones, lacking human insight and connection, and providing little to no value to the reader will also be rejected.
