Everything in our world tends to chaos and only people tend to organize this chaos into comprehensive structures. Over time, they have created governments, unions, and many other institutions but the question remains: how effective are these organizations? Let’s take a look at the most popular political systems and learn more about the system that Jax.Network would like to offer.

Communism

This philosophical, political, and economic system is based on communities. From Latin, communis translates as common, meaning a certain group of people has common ownership over the means of production. Private property, social classes, and money have no place under such a regime. The closest society that has some form of communism in today’s world is China.

We believe that any society needs money, hence, property and social classes, to evolve and develop. Such systems as communism don’t scale, because to create a meritocracy, you need money. And that’s impossible in the system, where money is neglected and not considered as a stimulus for the economy.

Capitalism

Contrary to communism, capitalism advocates for capital goods to be distributed between private individuals and businesses. The production of goods is regulated by the law of supply and demand. Under pure capitalism, individuals have unlimited rights and can do whatever they want with their capital. Nowadays, most countries use a mixed capitalism system, which implies that the government regulates certain aspects of the economy and ownership.

In the case of capitalism, an economic and political system where private owners and profits are cherished, another problem arises. People with a lot of money accumulate large stakes and free markets create inequality between people due to the different levels of income. So, there is a need to contain this inequality somehow.

Democratic socialism

We argue that the best way to contain inequality is through a universal basic income (UBI) tax. If you tax every transaction in the society with a UBI tax, then you can distribute that UBI back to people. Therefore, people aren’t forced to work to make ends meet. They can dedicate their time and energy to educating themselves, following their passions, and bringing long-term value to society. This also ensures a safer community, as people don’t have to carry out criminal schemes in order to earn money no matter what.

Interestingly, you can implement a communist society by charging a 100% UBI tax. And a capitalist society by charging a 0% UBI tax.

“Money isn’t the root of evil. That’s the lack of it that creates evil intentions,” Vinod Manoharan, the founder of Jax.Network, believes.

So, democratic socialism is a system based on a UBI tax and principles that favor a meritocracy. Jax.Network supports and intends to introduce democratic socialism within the company and beyond it. We value communities and believe that they should be managed by the most intelligent and talented people, while also supporting the empowerment process of the whole community with the help of a UBI tax.

Conclusion

Communities can be organized in multiple ways, including communism and capitalism. However, we at Jax.Network introduce democratic socialism, as we think it’s the best way to organize people based on their talents, efforts, and achievements.
