These past months have been quite stressful for all of us due to the surge in the cases of Covid-19 around the world. At the beginning of April, the situation finally improved, and we all were able to gather for the first international offline conference since the 2020 Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai. We can’t say how excited we were to meet other blockchain enthusiasts and discuss everything that had been happening these days in the blockchain space and share our main achievements.

Jax.Network was honored to be a sponsor and a speaker at the Blockchain Wave conference that took place on the sunny coast of Antalya, Turkey. We had a chance to meet the top members of the blockchain community, including the famous Bitcoin consultant Tony Weiss and the blockchain evangelist Evgeny Romanenko.

The relaxed environment of the hotel conference hall made the event more informal, so it reminded a gathering of old friends, who just happened to live in different parts of the world. The schedule of the event was quite tight, but we managed to find enough time for networking during coffee breaks and parties. Certainly, all other participants were able to meet new partners and discuss business in a comfortable atmosphere.

Blockchain Wave at the Rixos Downtown Conference Hall united around 500 blockchain enthusiasts from Europe, Asia, and the CIS under one roof between April 7–9. The topics of the speeches covered various areas of development and operation of the blockchain: from smart contracts and staking to legal aspects and prospects for the legalization of cryptocurrencies.

Our CTO, Taras Emelyanenko, also had a chance to share his vast knowledge and rich experience in this area, speaking from the main stage of the conference on April 8. His speech outlined the main peculiarities of PoW and PoS blockchains. As a bonus, Taras revealed the details of solving the blockchain scalability trilemma in the Jax.Net protocol.

After a busy conference day, all participants gathered at the Jax.Network cocktail booth for an after-party. It allowed everyone to get to know us better, ask some questions and just have fun in the company of like-minded people.

Later in the evening, another costumed after-party took place. It was quite an interesting and unusual networking event, as it was designed in “Crypto Kombat: looking for Satoshi Nakamoto” theme. We enjoyed the show very much!

The entire Jax.Network team thanks everyone for the interest and support you have been showing to our project. Special thanks go to those who were at the conference and listened to our speech as well as to those who visited our booth and wanted to find out more. We are determined to meet you way more times this year at other conferences and networking events worldwide! Stay tuned for more!
