PEARL, Miss. — The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight game against the Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park at 8 p.m. eastern.

Second baseman Isan Diaz has been reinstated from Jacksonville’s disabled list to the active roster. Diaz has not played since Wednesday May 16 when he was hit in the helmet by a pitch against the Montgomery Biscuits and was placed on the disabled list with a concussion. Diaz has played in 37 games for the Jumbo Shrimp, hitting .194 with four home runs and 13 RBI, and he is listed by MLB.com as the Miami Marlins №7 prospect.

In a corresponding move, infielder Luis Pintor has been transferred from Jacksonville to Marlins extended spring training. Pintor played in two games for the Jumbo Shrimp, going 0-for-4 at the plate.

The Jumbo Shrimp and Braves will continue their series with the third game of the five-game series on Friday night at Trustmark Park at 8 p.m. eastern. Right-handed pitcher Robert Dugger (0–0, 2.08 ERA) will be opposed by Mississippi right-handed starter Bryse Wilson (1–0, 2.87 ERA).
