GoPro has declared a new flagship Hero 7 action camera, along with two cheaper Hero 7 models that will complete the company’s refreshed camera line-up. In this post you wiil know all about new GoPro Hero 7 including specifications and new features.

The Hero 7 Black, which replaces the now stopped Hero 6 Black, comes with new ‘Hyper smooth’ electronic image stabilization, which GoPro founder Nick Woodman called “the best in-camera video stabilization in any camera, ever”.

There are four new features in new GoPro Hero 7 Black, as compared to the Hero 6 Black.

1. ‘Hypersmooth’ stabilization

It is a souped up version of the electronic image stabilization we saw on its previous flagship and now works in its 4K/60fps mode. This is still digital rather than optical stabilization

2. new timelapse mode called TimeWarp

This is similar to a standard timelapse, where the camera takes still photos at regular intervals then plays them back to give the impression of a scene being played in fast-forward.

3. Hero 7 Black is also the first GoPro that can livestream

You’ll initially be able to do this to sites like Facebook, Twitch, YouTube and Vimeo

4. ‘SuperPhoto’ feature with a refreshed UI.

‘SuperPhoto’ is GoPro’s attempt to replicate the intelligent auto modes which can automatically recognize scenes and apply the right camera settings. GoPro include a new ‘short clips’ button for limiting the length of recordings to 15 or 30 seconds.
