Houston…. Number One City for Minority Entrepreneurs

When I think Houston, TX, I immediately think: big hats, big hair and big steaks (maybe also BIG-time heat and humidity). However, the largest city in the Lone Star State may also have another claim to fame. According to the Houston Chronicle, the city recently ranked as the №1 city for minority entrepreneurs in the United States on metrics such as “the number and percentage of [minority owned]businesses, the opportunity for finding customers here and the rate at which startups are launched.”
