Joe trotted across the train yard in the direction of the monstrous roar he’d heard earlier. It seemed to figure that that would be where the real heart of the action was, and he was most definitely ready for action now.

At the rear of the yard, farthest as it got from town, was a sight that plum struck Joe still with its weirdness.
