Netflix has the film adaptations to the Baztán Trilogy available to watch. The book series was written by Dolores Redondo and includes The Invisible Guardian, The Legacy of the Bones and Offering to the Storm. The Spanish film series is best watched in one weekend because it has a lot of information.

As with any universe-building narrative, storytellers must balance the forest with the trees therein. The Baztán Trilogy is both fun and frustrating as it weaves through the perspectives of the many participants to the story arc. During this journey, viewers may find themselves hoping for specific story directions out of interest, fear or desire.

The Invisible Guardian
Inspector Amaia Salazar, played by the engaging Marta Etura, investigates the murder of a female teenager found nude next to a river. The details to the presentation of the body point Amaia to a case six weeks prior. She declares they are looking for a serial killer.
