JennyCo, the world’s first cryptographically secured healthcare data exchange, has initially chosen Ethereum Layer-2 scaling network, Polygon, as its blockchain of choice for its beta mobile application and token launch in the first quarter of 2023.

What does that mean for the plans for JennyCo and its relationship with Constellation?

In short — nothing has changed regarding JennyCo and Constellation’s relationship.

Due to increasing demand and excitement for our services, as we wait for Constellation Network’s State Channels to be up and running, we have decided to launch on the Polygon Network as an initial step forward.

Once the Polygon to Constellation bridge is available to utilize, the backend of JennyCo will also run on Constellations network, allowing unlimited wallet to wallet transfers, free staking, and real time reward distribution.

Why does launching on Polygon make sense in the interim?

Polygon is ready to support our platform and its next phase of growth, and we are thrilled to join the Polygon ecosystem. There are a few reasons why we decided to move forward with Polygon:

• As a layer-2 network, Polygon will help lower fees by processing each individual transaction off-chain and validating them all at once in batches — less on-chain transactions means less transaction fees for everyone.
• Polygon is highly scalable — it can handle a large volume of transactions and data and will allow JennyCo to scale quickly from the outset. The healthcare data mining industry is currently worth $40 billion, and anticipated to grow to $81.3 Billion — our goal is to capture a large market share so scalability is crucial.

When will JennyCo’s TGE occur?

The JCO token will be launched in Q1 of 2023, as an ERC-20 token on Polygon. More specifics on the official launch date are not available at this time — but the team will keep the community in the know with any updates that we can share when the time is right.
