Notes from Bali

I spent some time in Bali in Indonesia, which was pretty nice. Spent a lot of the time on the beach, just chilling out and reading. I stayed on the beaches, but spent one of the days exploring in Ubud.

In Ubud, I did some yoga, went to a monkey forest, and went to some of the rice terraces. There has been an emerging tourist activity in Bali which is the “swings.” First I think there was just one swing, and they kept popping up — the swings hang between the trees and as you go on them you swing across some very nice views. I think in the area I was in there were maybe 8 different swings.

Bali is a nice spot, I think you could spend a while there.
