Introducing animated frames to the JET8 Ecosystem
From the initial conception of the JET8 Ecosystem, we always envisioned artists creating their work without technical limitations. Today we’re happy to announce that a new type of asset has joined the JET8 Ecosystem: animated frames. The greater the variety of assets the JET8 platform supports, the greater the possibilities for users to create great content, feel closer to brands, and generate more engagement. The better the content, the more the engagement, the more JET Points earned.
With this new addition, the JET8 Ecosystem now supports four different types of assets: static stickers, animated stickers, static frames and animated frames.
The JET8 platform supports the most common graphic file formats, but we highly recommend the APNG format for animated assets. Using the APNG format significantly improves the performance when loading and rendering animated images on mobile devices, as well as improved data usage compared to other graphic formats (such as GIF). Additionally, APNG files are a better solution for creatives as they support a greater variety of options such as 24-bit images and 8-bit transparency.
How to use animated frames?
You can start using your favorite animated frames the same way you would with any other asset type. Start by opening any of the apps already on the JET8 Ecosystem. Take a selfie, or video selfie. Choose your favorite asset from the JET8 asset marketplace. And share it to your social media.
Can people start earning JET Points with animated frames?
Absolutely! We’re a working product company with a variety of app communities already using our platform to connect with brands and earn JET Points with the engagement users generate.
Content published and shared to popular social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram increases brand reach and potential engagement. The more people content creators reach the more JET Points they earn with each like, share and comment their content receives.

We have plans to include more asset types in future updates in order to enhance our platform and therefore improve our network of apps, creators and influencers. Expect to see more updates in the near future.
