Community AppStore

As the influx of communities continues, we’ve completely revamped the landings. We’re putting the finishing touches on them, and are aiming for release next week. The new landings will provide more and more relevant information for prospective users. They’re also highly customizable, to give more margin to cater to each community’s needs.

JET8 SDK & Wallet

Work continues on moving users’ wallets from the APPaaS SDK to an independent app. We’re looking forward to sharing full details on this important development soon, but for now, all we can do is ask you to stay tuned. There is a very important announcement on this front, and it’s getting closer!

Apps as a Service

Facebook Graph v3 Migration

As previously announced, we’ve completed the migration from Open Graph to Graph v3 successfully. All JET8 Communities are now compatible with the changes, and include the latest publication flows for Facebook and Instagram.

Tumblr

The deprecation of Tumblr publishing has also gone ahead as planned, and is no longer available. In order to maintain flexibility for existing users, we’ve opted to keep system-level Tumblr sharing for legacy users.

Enhanced Content Discovery

In order to respond to the growing number of Global Communities, we’ve enhanced the discovery page with further representation for different countries. To continue with our content-first approach, we’ve also optimized the search function to improve content search and discovery.

Team Growth

Development team growth continues as planned, adding Android, iOS & React Native developers & QA’s to our Barcelona office. We’re still hiring, so if you’re interested in a position in our Barcelona office, please check https://jet8.io/careers and drop us a line!
