JET8 Social interviews Tania Adams, founder and editor of Radio Africa Magazine. Technology and building communities lies at the core of JET8’s existence. In this interview, Adams shares her thoughts on how we can all work together to build new communities against racism and discrimination.

According to Adams individuals through technology now have the power to share and speak their truth instantly, and connect with others to start a new community. Building communities is important as this is the place individuals will always be able to find each other, says Adams.

Adams has lived in Barcelona since 2004 and is a cultural manager who specialises in the field of interculturality, immigration and African societies.

With a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Adams has worked on many cultural projects, awareness and research related to Africa and its Immigration,in Culture and Development and in the promotion of interculturality in Barcelona through culture in entities such as the Interarts Foundation, the Intermón Oxfam Foundation, the Center for African and Intercultural Studies in Barcelona or the City of Barcelona.
