New partnership with JOOX allows South Africans to share content and redeem JOOX products through the use of South African apps using JET8 Technology.
This week, JET8 announces a partnership with JOOX. Users across South Africa will now be able to redeem vouchers using their JETPoints they received when creating branded content and engaging audiences on social media.
Users create branded content on apps created with JET8 Technology which is available on the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store to customise their photos and videos with branded Geo-stickers and Geo-frames, and earn points
(‘JETPoints’) for every in-app like, comment, and share, as well as for cross-posting onto external social networks. JETPoints can be used to redeem vouchers in JET8’s in-app Store and then use these vouchers online or over-the-counter across more than 2,500 retail stores in South Africa.
JOOX stickers are available to use on the following apps: TaxiCAM, ICEcam, Maties Cam, AfriSelfie, Fotoku, MoMo ZA and South AfriCAM.
TENCENT CEO, Brett Loubser said: “JOOX is a great service for people that want to stream music on the go. Collaborating with JET8 enables us to crowdfund the promotion of JOOX on social media platforms and then reward people with JETPoints that they can use to purchase JOOX’s subscription services.”
JET8 Africa Managing Director, Gerjo Hoffman said: “It is great to have a digital brand like JOOX on board. Besides posting moments with cool stickers and frames users on JET8 apps in South Africa will also be able to use their JETPoints to redeem one months VIP subscriptions to the music streaming service.”
JET8 apps are available to download from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. For more information, visit https://apps.jet8.io/
