The sports industry shows continued support for JET8’s decentralized engagement technology as another world-renowned board advisor is revealed — two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and humanitarian, Angela Hucles.
JET8 Foundation Board scores another goal
The competitive nature of sports takes the spotlight this week, as the number of sports community apps available for download in the Google Play Store soars, and a laudable leader from the world of sports joins JET8 Foundation’s Board as an advisor.
Angela Hucles is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist (U.S. Soccer), two-time World Cup Bronze Medalist, and former professional soccer player of the Boston Breakers. She served as president of the Women’s Sports Foundation, and founder and CEO of the Empowerment Through Sport Leadership Series. In 2009, she was awarded U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Humanitarian of the Year.
Angela’s passion for soccer is equalled by her passion for helping others. With 25 years of experience in the arena of sports, Angela helps athletes transition into new phases of success, and discovers sports leadership talent through her organization, Empowerment Through Sport. As an advisor to the JET8 Foundation Board, Angela will contribute her wealth of experience and extensive network to help guide the Foundation’s expansion into the world of sports.
Sports has the power to impact society on so many levels. Beyond the game, it empowers individuals, teaches the youth to overcome adversity, encourages inclusion, and cultivates leadership.
