The Indonesian market gets set to boom with the most recent addition to JET8’s international Growth and Development team.

Indonesia primed for Growth and Development

JET8 today announced the recruit of corporate sales and marketing veteran, Marthin Romero, to the role of Growth and Development Director for Indonesia. CEO Shannon Cullum outlined his enthusiasm for the latest addition:

“Marthin brings with him an impressive 23 years of experience in corporate sales and marketing, including 15 years’ worth of senior roles in Indonesia’s media landscape. We’re especially excited that the responsibility of growing our Indonesian foothold- is in the hand’s of a specialist in Digital Asset Management, Digital delivery, SaaS, Advertising and Public Relations. With a long history of senior roles within the conventional and digital media landscape, including multi-nationals MTV Indonesia, Astro TV, MNC Group, Viva Group, Ogilvy Indonesia, IMD Group, and Adstream Asia- Marthin has both the experience and contacts necessary to achieve JET8’s aims for the region.

Having serviced clients such as WPP, Starcom Group, Omnicom Group, Tempo Scan Group, Mayora Group, Orang Tua Group, Unilever, P&G, L’oreal, Tokopedia, and Lazada- Mr. Romero also has an established relationships with some of JET8’s existing network.

Marthin joins JET8 from his most recent post as Sales and Corporate Marketing Director with Masima Radio Network, a Prambors Group company. Whilst there, he was responsible for 3 media brands across 18 branches in 9 cities, with outstanding results.

“During my time at Masima I increased conventional media revenue for Prambors Network by 24% , and for the Delta Network by 13% in 2017, and that was at a time when gross industry growth was only at 4%. I also increased MRN digital revenue by 62%, and original local revenue for MRN Group in 8 cities by 80%, so I’m quite excited about what I can achieve for JET8!”— Marthin Romero
