Former CIO for Tencent Africa to orchestrate JET8 growth in the region
Gerjo Hoffman, former Chief Innovation Officer for Tencent Africa, was today announced as the latest addition to the JET8 executive team.
During his tenure at Tencent, Mr. Hoffman was responsible for launching applications WeChat, JOOX and VOOV, as well as numerous other multiple print media, ecommerce and mobile applications in Africa.
As of June 1st, Gerjo will be responsible for servicing the rapidly expanding market in his role as Director of Growth and Development for JET8 in Africa.

Over the course of his 15 years as a corporate entrepreneur, Mr. Hoffman worked for Naspers in China, Vietnam and the UAE. His experience working for renowned multinationals in the IT and media sphere is set to contribute greatly to JET8’s expansion in Africa.
