From Paris to Poblenou, DEN Culture gives back

Last Friday, November 23rd, DEN Culture launched another interactive art experience sponsored by the JET8 Foundation.

Parisian street art duo Toqué Frères gifted the Barcelona neighbourhood of Poblenou with one of their stand-out pieces on the external walls of DEN Hall.

The artwork celebrates the launch of their own official Toqué Frères community app, built by JET8 for their fans. By downloading the app, art lovers can stay up to date with their latest work, share their support and get creative themselves with a range of bespoke Toqué Frères frames and stickers.

The latest instalment of DEN Culture will add to the action of Poblenou Open Night, a lively neighbourhood cultural event of music, art, shopping, eating and drinking.

Toqué Frères consists of young brothers Féilx and Marin Toqué, a social educator and fine arts student from France. The duo have been expressing their artistic and social vision across Paris in the form colourful street art depicting messages of love, joy and brotherhood.

Their often large, uplifting work offers unique moments of joy for those living in the urban jungle. Through collaboration with local residents their art helps to strengthen communities, and their interactive style brings positive vibes and smiles to the streets of Paris.

JET8 makes Tech in Asia Top 50

Leading technology publication Tech in Asia constantly assesses the startups driving innovation throughout Southeast Asia, and JET8 has made the list again, this time receiving a mention in their Top 50.

JET8 invited to Demystify Blockchain at IESE Business School

This December 4th, JET8 Chairman Victor Zabrockis will join other founders of leading blockchain companies for the IESE Alumni & Friends Panel Discussion: Demystifying Blockchain.

Joining Zabrockis for the session will be Anjaney Borwankar, Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer of Navozyme, and Advisor of IESE Business School; Gaurang Torvekar, Co-Founder & CEO of Indorse; and Marcelo García Casil
Founder & CEO of Maecenas Fine Art.

The event aims to give audiences insight into the transformational potential of blockchain, with speakers and companies representing a wide range of sectors including the maritime, recruitment, FMCG, art and social media industries.

Using examples outside of the financial services examples that normally dominate blockchain discussions, the event will showcase real use-cases depicting how blockchain can impact everything from business to community.
