Natalia Olson-Urtecho, joins the JET8 executive team as the new Social Impact Director.

Natalia serves as Lead Advisor on Government & Activism to the RadicalxChange foundation; she adds to the JET8 team 20 years of experience working with international, regional, and local entities globally. She is an expert in smart cities, telecommunications, finance, government contracting, international collaborations, commercialization of technology, environmental planning, sustainable building, zoning, land use, transportation, public engagement, and infrastructure development.

Josh Thomson, Co-Founder of JET8, says, ‘We are excited to have Natalia join our Global JET8 team as the Social Impact Director. With her experience and industry knowledge, we look forward to her leading the change in communities that JET8 technology can impact positively.”

Adding to her credentials, Natalia was also appointed by President Obama as the SBA Regional Administrator. She served as the Vice-Chair of the Zoning Code Commission for the Philadelphia Planning Commission and then moved to the U.S Innovation Advisory Board to advise Congress and the White House on competitiveness and innovation. Natalia oversaw 180 SBA offices, SCORE chapters, Business Development Centers, Women, and Veteran Centers, and other resources while managing a field of staff of loan, business, community outreach specialists, and support personnel.

She has also received numerous prestigious awards, such as Woman of Distinction for her work in sustainable infrastructure and the green economy, and currently sits on the board of Barcelona Smart City.
