Empowered Creators. Democratization of Influence. Relationships of Value. Wealth creation for all. What does it all mean?

The Future is Now. Are you?

Originally built for low-bandwith mobile coverage, simple to use, and rewarding relationships between peers (rather than celebrity status), the JET8 app model was built in order to allow anyone, anywhere, to be able to earn with their every day social media activities.

South east Asia is a huge mobile social media market, with 42% penetration of the market. That’s a whopping 272.6 million people using mobile social media to share moments in their lives. And guess what. JET8 has 1.5 million installs on their most popular app, Fotoku. And it’s constantly growing.

The point is this, in a region (biggest uptake of JET8 technology is in Indonesia, Vietnam, & the Philippines) where the average daily income is less than $5, users of JET8 apps have the ability to earn on average $2 dollars a day for their engagement.

The impact of this is not to be scoffed at.

It not only addresses the issue of earning potential, but other benefits, such as the transparent and reciprocal nature of the relationship a user has with the brands they support, also mark a considerable improvement to the way social media users are normally treated.

By rewarding both data and content contributions, and offering an alternative way for brands and consumers to interact, JET8 changes the way we approach marketing, advertising, branding, and sales.

Influence, in the Future

In the world of tomorrow, as contemplated by the likes of Ray Kurzweil and Tim Urban, a world we can already see dawning, the activities and professional contributions made by humans will be inevitably altered with the increased robotization of various industries. (Potentially, all industries.)

In this world, the value of humanity will be gauged in terms of what only humans can offer. Our creativity, our intuitive responses, our spirituality, and of course: our influence. (Despite its shortcomings political discourse will no doubt continue. And the personal, as we all know, is political.)

Consider that influence and creativity will be the main drivers of wealth in the age of artificial intelligence, automation and even Universal Basic Income. Then consider that JET8’s system offers the specific tools to earn from influence and creativity, as well as manage the wealth accumulated (with the in-app wallet and every-expanding list of consumer goods and services).

Simply by recognising the value of the selfie and all it implies.

In terms of accountability, immutability and transparency, the integration of the platform (and associated transactions) onto the blockchain (which in itself foreshadows a future of global institutional change), and with the introduction of the globally accessible J8T Token, JET8 is definitively ahead of the game.

At the same time, the decentralised growth strategy (as discussed in my previous piece) and the establishment of the JET8 Foundation, simultaneously serve to take these tools beyond the ‘garden walls’ of a for-profit business, allowing for exponential expansion of the system and the mindset it represents.

Thus, JET8 has already taken the the first step in creating an egalitarian opportunity for wealth creation and an alternative economic model that allows anyone, anywhere, to become earners and consumers within decentralised engagement networks.
