Kasol is a Paradise in the district Kullu of the India State of Himachal Pradesh . It is situated on the bank’s of Parvati river . Kasol is a tourist attraction that is rapidly gaining fame as a popular hub for trekkers, backpackers, and nature lovers. It was july of 2019 when three of us packed our bags to have some peace in the mountains of Himalaya. One can easily reach kasol by taking a bus or personal vehicle from “New delhi* the capital of India to Bhuntar which is about 23 km away from kasol. Journey is around 10 -12 hours through the bus , with full of breathtaking views.

Usually while traveling people take naps as to be fully energetic at the destination but for travel freaks their trip starts at the same point as they have got an idea to travel some place , so through the window of bus things were changing from hot air to fresh air , big buildings to small towns and of course a city to a hamlet called kasol. With some strange aroma and burble of Parvati river , we were welcomed by nature. It’s quite easy to get a place to stay there with cheap prices so we got one room in Choj valley just 3 km above kasol . It was amidst mountains with soothing music of Parvati river , whole restlessness flowed away in minutes and ofcourse pink Floyd also helped us . One thing we all can learn through traveling is to know the culture and people of different countries and i learned it in kasol as there most people were not from india but from foreign countries and mostly were Israelis that’s why kasol is called mini Israel of India. Next morning we were in Manikaran sahib which is a famous Gurudwara along the same river and it has a hot spring that’s literally one of the most relaxing things I have ever crossed my paths with but most relaxing will come in a little while.

As we are in the Himalayas , beautiful treks are in abundance; some are tosh — kasol trek , Sar pass trek but what we chose was kheerganga trek which is one of the most famous treks here. Kheer Ganga (3050 meters) lies at the extreme end of Parvati valley and the last inhabited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass. Kheerganga’s panoramic skies and vast greenery are a much-needed delight to the trekker’s eyes and especially the tired legs. It is a holy place with a hot water spring which I found to be the most relaxing thing I have encountered in my life so far, a small temple of Lord Shiva and a bathing tank. It makes a rare combination for any trekker to bath in hot spring water when everything is covered by snow. It took around 6 hours to reach the top and what I saw in between was something I’m trying to mention from the start was Paradise.
