2 Israeli Startups In The Top 10 Of Deloitte’s EMEA Fast 500 List
YouAppi and Yotpo placed 4th and 6th because of their high revenue growth
Two Israeli companies placed in the top 10 of 500 companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) list.
The list was published on December 7, by the London multinational Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. The list ranked 2 Israeli startups, YouAppi and Yotpo, in the top 10.
The rank is based on the percentage of the startups’ revenue growth over the past four years (2013–2016).
YouAppi got the 4th place with an amazing growth rate of 16,230% and Yotpo placed 6th with a growth of 8703%.
YouAppi is a US-Israeli startup which provides a mobile ad platform that helps attract new users on mobile by syncing up with mobile apps and sites. It does it using analytics and predictive algorithms, powered by machine learning. Founded in 2011, YouAppi has 10 locations around the world working with 470 global brands, its platform is used by over two billion people.
Yotpo is a Tel-Aviv based content marketing company. It has a platform enabling brands to attract users through reviews and other ways in order to drive traffic and conversions. Yotpo was also founded in 2011. The firm plans to add new features and increase their employees in offices around the world.
According to the infographic information of the Deloitte list, more companies from Israel made it in the list than companies from Italy, Spain, Russia, Austria, and Iceland combined.
How can a company be considered? It must be working in one of six sectors including: hardware, software, communications, media, life sciences or clean technology. Also, they must develop their own technology.
The companies have to be headquartered in the Europe, Africa, or Middle East region with an active business for a minimum of four years.
At the first place of this year’s EMEA ranking there’s Deliveroo, UK online food delivery company. Its growth percentage rate is of 107,117%.
