In the last 112 years, some 800 individuals were awarded with the Nobel prize. 20% of them are Jews. Yet, Jews are around 0.2% of the general population. In the words of the second US President John Adams Jews

have [contributed] more to civilize men than any other nation…. and have influenced the affairs of mankind more and more happily than any other nation, ancient or modern”.

From the medieval Spanish Kingdom to the Industrial Revolution, countries and markets were the Jewish communities flourished were succesfull and prosperous, while discrimination of the Jews and their eventual expulsion signed the cathastrophe for the general population from Sicily to Noth Africa.

Nowadays the State of Israel, the largest Jewish Community on Earth, is a global hub for innovation and prosperity.

Our Mission

The Jewish Economic Forum is committed to improving the state of the Jewish people in the world.

The Jewish Economic Forum is a hub connecting leading Jewish entrepreneurs worldwide.

The JEF promotes a stronger cooperation among the Private Sector, Jewish and non-Jewish Organizations, NGOs, Communities and the State of Israel.

The JEF is independent, impartial and not tied to any particular political group.

The Jewish Economic Forum strives in all its efforts to promote progress, entrepreneurship and growth through the exchange of ideas, information and knowledge.

Jewish moral and ethical principles are the foundations of the way we intend to enhance world’s economic well-being and encourage business and innovation.

Established in 2015 as a non-profit organization, the JEF is today headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Our Leadership

Jonathan Pacifici at the Kyiv International Economic Forum

Jonathan Pacifici, Chairman

Jonathan Pacifici is a Venture Capitalist, Enterpreneur, Bible and Talmud Scholar and Community Leader. Jonathan was born in Rome in 1978 into an ancient Italian Jewish family with a strong tradition of community service. In 1982 Jonathan survived to the terror attack at the Synagogue of Rome. This tragic event strenghtened his commitment to the Jewish Community and the State of Israel. At the age of 19 he moved to Israel.

After his Management studies, Jonathan started a career in the booming Israeli high tech sector first as a consultant and later as Venture Capitalist and entrepreneur. He is Managing Partner at Sixth Millennium Venture Partners, Wadi Ventures and Board Member at The Cambridge Management Consulting Labs, Your Future and several portfolio companies.

A Bible and Talmud Scholar (his weekly Italian newsletter on Torah.it is followed by thousands), he is also a Community Leader and opinion maker within the Italian Jewry both in Israel and Italy.

Jonathan holds a BA in management from the Ben Gurion University in the Negev and an MBA from the Kellogg-Recanati International Executive MBA program of the Northwestern University and the Tel Aviv University. He speaks Italian, English, Hebrew and French.

Jonathan lives in Jerusalem with his wife Solenne and their childrens Jocheved, Avigail, Efrat and Itamar.

Mycol Benhamou, Vice President

Mycol Benhamou is the General Manager in Israel for the Compagnie Bancaire Helvetique.

Mycol was born in Geneva and moved to Israel in 2005. Between the years 1997 and 2003, she effected various internships in London and Geneva, at Christie’s and in different banks. After obtaining a BBA from the International University of Geneva, she worked with Mazars Coresa (responsible for auditing). She also worked for the Tel Aviv Museum of Art in the department of the international relationship. Mrs Benhamou speaks fluently 5 languages: French, Italian, English, Hebrew and German.

Fabio Perugia, Vice President

Fabio is the Press Secretary, Media and Institutional Relations Coordinator of various companies. Today, he is in charge of the World Jewish Congress’ relations with the Italian media.

He holds a degree in Communications and has extensive experience in journalism. After eight years as the Editor of the newspaper “Il Tempo,” Fabio has been the Spokesman of the Jewish Community of Rome for more than three years.

Daniele Moscati, Vice President

Entrepreneur and expert in the digital marketing industry, Daniele is the founder of NG Group, a strategic consulting agency for the online industry and Country Manager to Beaumont Invest Services a UK Broker.

He holds a Business Administration Degree from LUISS University.
Born in Italy, Rome — Daniele moved to Israel when he was 25. Daniele speaks fluently English, Hebrew, and Italian.

Haim Azoulay, Strategic Communication Consultant

Haim Azoulay is the CEO and founder of AZOULAY PR &MORE…LTD, STUDIO A, and BEYOND NETWORKING. These three media companies provide end-to-end marketing services including branding processes, international campaigns and strategic communication support to Israel’s leading companies.

Haim Azoulay began his professional career as a photographer and journalist for the Ma’ariv newspaper and foreign agencies. He was involved in many projects in Israel and around the world as a journalist and then opened an international photography agency with branches in New-York and Italy.

Haim Azoulay’s office regularly does pro-bono work for organizations and causes that are of community awareness, the office supports them with means and ideas.
