Amazon Stops Free Delivery Offer in Israel

Online retailing giant Amazon has halted the free delivery offer for Israeli buyers.

Last week, Amazon introduced a new offer for its customers around the world of free delivery for purchases in excess of $80.

After just one week, however, the offer is not available from Israel.

As reported by Globes, when the offer started, purchases by Israelis on Amazon rose dramatically to the point that some categories are believed to have reached twenty times the normal daily volume.

Israelis were extremely disappointed when they realized the offer was halted.
