JETRO, the Japanese External Trade Organization, is opening a business center and accelerator program for Israeli startups.

The Japanese governmental agency will soon open an accelerator program to support Israeli startups, but also to mediate business cooperation between Japanese and Israeli companies.

The center will be focused on helping Israeli companies in their founding stages and in their expansion in Japan.

The main goal is to promote bilateral trade and investments between Japan and the rest of the world.

Among the various programs promoted by JETRO, the Invest Japan program aims at helping foreign companies which want to develop their business in Japan. Thus, the program is designed to help Israeli startups interested in expanding in Japan.
