The Tel Aviv District Planning and Building Commission in the Planning Administration finally approved the highest office tower in Israel.

The building will be the 100-storey Bein Arim Tower. It will be located in the a Tel Aviv municipality-owned site, between Shefa Tal Street in Givatayim, Jabotinsky Street in Ramat Gan, and the exit ramp from the Ayalon Highway (Arlosorov Interchange), near the Savidor Railway Station and the Tel Aviv light railway Red Line.

As reported by Globes, the 120,000 square meters plant includes hotels, offices, commerce and public space.

There will be in fact the tower and two six-storey public buildings.

According to Globes, the Tel Aviv municipality will soon issue a tender to market the land to developers.

The tower was objected by the residents of existing buildings and by purchasers of apartments in tower under construction in Givatayim and in Ramat Gan.

However, the District Planning and Building Commission heard the objections and approved the plan anyway, making some changes.

The District Planning and Building Commission also required the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting the tower to both Givatayim and Ramat Gan.
