“This is unreal.” he told me.
“What’s unreal?”
“Never in my right mind have I imagine to be sitting next to you, face to face, hand in hand.” he said to me as he massages my knuckles. I laugh.
“Just like now?”
“Just like now.”
“So, can I say that it’s a dream come true?” I smile sheepishly as I direct my gaze towards his warm eyes. What a mesmerizing sight, I think to myself.
Now it’s his turns to laugh. The saying that laugh is contagious is probably right.
He bites his lips, looking very apologetic. I bet even the angels would think I’m in the wrong if they sees his face.
“I’m sorry it took so long.”
I notice his wet eyes. No one likes waiting. No one likes to be late. But what can we do if the time just doesn’t match? Sure, wrong people meet in the wrong time. But what if the universe always find a way to make you stumble back into your past? Can you think of anything else beside fate?
“No matter how lost you are, universe will always brings someone back to where they’re belong. I’m glad you’re finally home.”
