Today was our last day! How bittersweet. It has been so much fun, but I’m also glad to have some time to stop and breathe. It’s amazing to think back on how many places we’ve been and how many places there still are to explore in this city.

I didn’t even get good pictures everywhere!

The seminar has been a great experience, and it feels (and probably is) impossible to sum it up.

I really liked today. After focusing so hard on our own prototype for our own group project, it was so interesting to see what everyone else did for their projects and how differently we all approached the assignment(definitely a benefit of leaving it open-ended!).

Our prototype

I was actually really worried about testing the prototype — I was nervous about interacting with the public — but it wound up being one of my favorite parts of the seminar. We were really lucky to interact with a lot of families who were willing to have fun with the prototype, and seeing people have fun with the thing we made was incredibly rewarding.

It was interesting and really helpful to hear from other groups who had different experiences with their testing and who had to adapt. It was a great crash course on prototyping and some of its possible outcomes. Everyone did a really great job, and (to take a minute to pat ourselves on the back) the whole group’s passion and enthusiasm was a huge part of what made the seminar so great.
