01 Overview

Through field research, we have discovered some interesting things in the airport system. For example, some children sat on the top baskets of trolleys and many people didn’t return the trolleys after their luggage have been checked. We tried to redesign the trolley and improve the system.

In this project, we shared the same research results, but everyone should propose his own solution.

02 Research

We have been to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for field research and user interview. In this process, we have not only observed and interviewed different travellers but also talked with the staff. The diagram below shows how the trolley system works.

Problem

03 Solution

The current trolly is quite good, so I just add a children seat and a pad for users who travel with children. As with other customers, they can borrow the current trolleys.
