Blockchain Lead — Felipe Faria
Jigstack is pleased to announce an addition to the team. Felipe Faria will join Jigstack as Blockchain Lead, bringing over 15 years of experience in software development, architecture of Linux systems, and blockchain development. With a degree in computer engineering, he began his career at a multinational company, developing features for cell phones in the Latin American market. More recently, he has worked on multiple blockchain projects, with a focus on cross-chain integration. This is particularly important to Jigstack — we believe that the future of DeFi is multichain, which is why we’ve outlined partner chains like Polygon, Hedera Hashgraph, and Bonded Finance in our whitepaper, and built the JSTAK synthetic non-monetary governance token as inherently multi-chain capable.
- Freelance — Felipe worked as a consultant and developer in a variety of projects involving Blockchain, IoT, and mobile applications.
- EOS — Senior Blockchain Engineer — Invited to be part of EOS Rio, a Block Producer of the EOS Network. There he kept the BP infrastructure up and running; configured, operated, and maintained several cloud instances, bare-metal nodes, and servers for every EOSIO chain; worked on EOS community projects and dapp development (SimplEOS and Hyperion); served as advisor, customizing the EOISIO protocol; and development on the most disruptive game industry platform project, Ultra.
- Ankr — Senior Blockchain Engineer and Backend Engineer — Developed and maintained blockchain nodes for the marketplace and also for enterprise clients. Developed DeFi products for StakeFi (Ankr Staking), a decentralized protocol and platform that combines staking and DeFi. He also implemented elements from traditional staking with non-custodial management, Micropools, instant liquidity, and decentralized governance.
- Sandbox — Smart contract developer
- Technology Experience — Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Ansible, NodeJS, Golang, Rust, Solidity, Jira, Redis, Different blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Ethereum 2.0, Polkadot, Avalanche, etc), zk-Rollups.
