Apparently I have too much “stuff” and my “stuff” encroaches on the other side of the dresser. My suggestion was to buy a nightstand to store some of it. Lucky for me, I have a creative, do-it-yourselfer right next to me. After researching the types of nightstands I wanted, we took a trip to my grandfather’s favorite place, the Mecca of American households — Home Depot. You just can’t beat the smell in that place, probably not healthy but neither is anything.

Trying My Green Thumb

Once upon a time I had plants, and they died. Something about watering or whatever. But trying to be a grown up, I decided to give it another go. Succulents thrive here and they are just so beautiful. Let’s see how this goes.

I believe the scientific name is “planticus beautifulicus”

Final product. I’ve named it “Destiny’s Child”. Really hope they stay together this time.

Decorating the office

Since I’m working from, I wanted to spruce up my office. Travis did some pretty good decorating on his own and I didn’t want to interrupt that with my pink frames so I chose to put up some pictures in my corner. This project is definitely a work in progress. Harry Potter and Mary Poppins pictures to come.

Because we deserve it

Part of the 30 for 30 is trying to eat better but unfortunately there is a donut shop within walking distance from our apartment — Slo Do Co. And sometimes when you’re a good girl, you deserve a treat. Or 2. Preferably glazed or sugar coated.
