Steady as she goes until she comes

The theme of the last couple weeks has been “wait and see.”

Adrienne and I have been going dutifully to Adrienne’s appointments twice a week for the last several weeks. Things are looking good. We were so happy to have passed the 37-week mark, which means Baby Girl is full term!

Statistically, babies with CDH do better when they reach term, so we are really, really grateful for that.

The high levels of amniotic fluid that were a concern around Labor Day seem to have plateaued, so we are not anticipating any more unplanned procedures before the delivery.

Adrienne is doing well, resting and getting ready for the delivery. We are both getting so excited to meet our baby.
