March 12, 2017–11am-3pm: Mac ’n’ Cheese & Chili Cook-Off — If you love macaroni and cheese, or if you are a fan of delicious chili, you’re not going to want to miss this cook-off! This event is hosted by PR Youth Running — an organization dedicated to helping kids develop self-esteem and confidence. The event includes unlimited tastings, a raffle, silent auction, and entertainment for event-goers of all ages. Tickets are on sale now!
March 31, 2017 — April 2, 2017–12pm-5pm: Castle Rock Home & Garden Show — This 3-Day event is sure to inspire you to re-decorate or re-design your home or backyard patio! Items available for purchase at the event include fine art, crafts, and various collectibles.
April 6, 2016–9am — 3pm: Just Between Friends Spring Sale — Everyone loves a bargain! Anyone with young children will not want to miss this Just Between Friends sale. Find huge discounts on thousands of baby and kid items. Items for sale are typically “gently used” and include clothes, shoes, baby equipment (including strollers), books, games, furniture, maternity clothes, and more.
April 21, 2017–9am-5pm: Colorado Classic Mule & Donkey Days — Do you love mules and donkeys? If so, this is the event for you. Mule & Donkey Days is a unique event that celebrates these animals, and provides an opportunity for guests of all ages to learn and participate in various fun and educational activities.
April 28, 2017 — April 30,2017–10am-4pm: Sublime Antique Restorations at Rocky Mountain Antique Festival — If you own one or more antiques and have always wondered about their value, stop by this Antiques Festival! Representatives from Sublime Antique Restoration will be present to evaluate your antiques and provide monetary estimates.
May 27, 2017–7am-3pm: Memorial Day Run & March — Registration is now open for the 2017 Memorial Day Run & March. Everyone is invited to participate in this friendly competition which includes three routes with a varying level of difficulty. The Colorado Veterans Project hosts this annual run/march to raise awareness and funds for local Veterans and Veterans organizations. All routes start and end at the Douglas County Events Center.
June 4, 2017–5am-5pm: Subaru Elephant Rock Festival — No matter your skill level, there is a ride for you at this year’s Subaru Elephant Rock Festival. From an 8-mile family ride to a 100-mile course, everyone is encouraged to participate in this fun and festive event. Founded in 1987, this has grown into one of the most well-known events in the region. Parking for this event is located at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
