We’re delighted to announce CLIP-as-service, a low-latency high-scalability service for embedding images and texts.

• Fast: Serving CLIP models with ONNX runtime and PyTorch designed for extensive data and long-running tasks with a need for speed.
• Scalable: Lets you scale up and scale down multiple CLIP models on a single GPU, with automatic load balancing.
• Easy-to-use: C-a-s has an easy-to-learn design and a simple-to-use API for image and sentence embedding.
• Integrates smoothly with our neural search ecosystem, letting you build cross-modal and multi-modal search solutions in no time.

Other Features

We’ve also made some interface improvements and added new features

• Added grpc tls support on gateway.
• Added Linkerd as the default service mesh.
• Added support for JSON/bytes in websocket.
• Added input filters for Executors and made it possible to convert embedding/tensor array type at the Executor level.
