A Poem about an inner conflict to move back
out into rural life.

But the ever so wild pleasures of an assiduous city,
just won’t seem to let a person slip away that easily.

Forget the past. Let your memories fade.
The realization that there's nothing saved from grace.
More like that of a thousand rocks,
slash a falling failures.
Urging you to feed off more in-depth scenes
Those of a sexual nature.

Frustrated and overrated in order to take full control.
Many faces to a soul more powerful,
than any vessel could ever show.
What’s that you may think,
there’s more hidden underneath.
So sick and tired, not even found room to sleep.

Oblivious and powerless, helpless of my forgiveness.
Like the time a spider spun me a web,
of unfinished business.
Initial pain endured the stain of the obtained.
It's three A.M. when they open the gates.
Over-toned but love stoned and heart-grown.
A spell of sarcasm, sparked out into the unknown.

The thrush into a trance of fatal debris.
Just like a boss of all clans, the chief of all chiefs.
Instability, no security, no passion or election.
The weight on your shoulder,
without heartache or affection.

You left and never gave in. Yet, you still took a chance.
The same glass on the floor, smashed in your hand.
For that you are not even safe, in your mind,
your own promised land.
I am, I am. And so i can cope.
After all this is where i was born, this is my home.
But to be honest, for now, i just want to be left alone.
