Embarking on the Adventure of a Life-Time
Melbourne and Europe, here I come!
And so it begins…
As I sit on the plane on the first leg of a near 6-month vacation, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of optimism for what lies ahead.
Because so much lies ahead.
The Australian Open. My first major international sporting event. Another chance to watch my favourite athlete Rafael Nadal. Perhaps for the last time.
Europe. The most famous continent on planet Earth. The home of the UN. My ideal future workplace. Madrid, Paris, Berlin. Famous cities. Storied histories. So much to explore.
And family. Close friends. Long-lost relatives. United at last. After 18 years in anonymity.
That’s not to mention the new friends I’ll make along the way. Friends that’ll become family. Cities I’ll fall in love with. Memories that will last a lifetime.
The future is bright. And it’s easy to get carried away. There’s no better time to live than NOW.
I’ve worked hard for this moment. A year of intense studying. Early morning coaching sessions. 18 years in the waiting.
It’s always been a dream to travel solo—a dream to go overseas. I’ve never left the land down under. But the time has come.
What Does that Matter to You?
Put simply, all dreams can be realized. Big or small.
There will be struggles. There will be highs. There will be lows. But it will all be worth it in the end.
The truth is, I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know. Simply rehashing important life advice. Because everything you need to achieve your dreams is already out there.
There are no secrets.
However, a collection of hard work, luck, and perseverance will go a long way. And a little push will too!
