We had the opportunity to work with Dario Re and the rest of the Heat Speak group on their newest project, “Ellingson for Peace.” It was one of those projects where everything seemed to just work, especially for Dario. He says of the project, “the concept of writing a song, recording it, arranging it, mixing it, mastering it, visualizing it, all in one swoop was kind of a creative idea I had of just seeing a project through when it’s really fresh and you’re just in it.” It was a unique experience for everyone to see a project through to the finish without a break in the process.

In the world of arts, such boundaries disappear and the goal then becomes, “how can we make this even crazier?

For us, it was a great opportunity to approach something with total creativity. In the business world, video projects are often constrained to a particular idea, or set of bounds to operate within. In the world of arts, such boundaries disappear and the goal then becomes, “how can we make this even crazier?” It is a very fun situation to be in, when the doors are all open and the ideas can just flow. We had a great time working with Heat Speak, and we are really looking forward to future projects with them! For now, if you would like to learn more about “Ellingson for Peace,” head over to this article written by the Spokesman Review. There, Dario talks through the process of how the song was conceptualized, written and produced. It’s a great read and I recommend it to anyone who has even a little interest in music or the arts.
