Climate change impacts our communities, which will be moving our future within the next seven years. Currently, we are affected by high temperatures and coastal flooding. Human activities have caused climate change within the last 50 years. The global temperature surface has risen 1.62 percent, which caused many countries around the world to have significant impacts such as hurricanes, shrunk icebergs, and droughts.

One way I will be able to execute my ideas is through Facebook. Many people are uninformed by climate change, or they believe this is a hoax. Climate change has impacted not only humans but animals too. Melting glaciers had rising sea levels, increasing coastal erosions — affecting arctic animals such as hunting polar bears and snow leopards. These animals are finding new ways to survive. Glaciers are home to the arctic animals. Currently, they are having more contact with humans. Wildlife having more reference with humans results in more conflict on the arctic when they are searching for refuge.

Rising sea levels are affecting the wetlands. Oceans are nearly “drowning” the wildlife, caused by the oceans are rapidly growing and the temperature rising. Coral reefs can only produce photosynthesis in shallow waters. With rising sea levels, they are not able to grow effectively and can drown in these environments. Coral reefs play an essential role in our communities; they protect us from storms and erosions. Many people rely on coral reefs for food and income. Animals need them for a clean ocean and protection. “Some experts predict hunger, poverty, and political instability as the livelihoods of the peoples of entire countries disappear. Once the coral is dead, the reefs will also die and erode, destroying important marine life spawning and feeding grounds.” It will be hard to survive and even lead us to extinction.

We must be aware of climate change because this is the only world we have. The earth provides beauty and nutrients. We want to keep this world alive for our future generations. Climate change has affected our way of life, and our actions have abused animal lifestyles. Millions of people are currently on reversing the effects of global warming. But we do have a limited time to change it.
