The story about the Beachie Creek Fire is truly sad. Telling the story of the fire and of the Tofte family that was affected is very important. The way to tell the story of the family has to be done delicately to get the Tofte family the help that they need mentally and physically. The way that I would tell this story through social media is through Facebook. Facebook often has charity posts and longer stories about people in need, and these are usually spread throughout the entirety of the social site. There are many resources for families that have suffered including but not limited to the American Red Cross, and smaller local organizations that help families recover financially and property-wise. By telling the story of those who have suffered in fires like this, it not only gives attention to the one family, but also to these charities that benefit them.
