Professional Bio

Morgan Bangura is a senior instructional designer at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of the Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO), contracted by Team b. Strategy +. She has over 10 years of training, instructional design, and facilitation experience. Morgan has a B.S. in Public Policy and Administration from JMU and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.

Why did you choose JMU?

I would say that JMU really chose me. It was a great blend of educational offerings mixed with social atmosphere that fit my needs as a growing professional.

How did your degree from JMU lead you to where you are today?

My current role has the unique opportunity to combining my undergraduate and graduate work into one role. The skills, friendships and experience I gained at JMU are invaluable. JMU shaped not only my career but life as a whole.
